The following case is a Michelin-level Spanish asado (open-fire cuisine) restaurant project we completed in China in 2024. Mr. Z brought authentic Spanish cuisine to this location, and we collaborated with the senior design team U&D on the entire project. After two months of work, we successfully delivered the project, as shown in the images below:
The overall style of this restaurant features warm dark tones, incorporating numerous unique designs and creative concepts. Upon receiving the design plan, our first step was to conduct in-depth reviews and communications. We successively confirmed all details of the restaurant furniture, including dimensions, layout, materials, and color swatches. Additionally, we provided suggestions and adjustments based on Bellavit’s professional manufacturing capabilities—and the entire plan gained unanimous approval from all parties.
After the first round of confirmations, we submitted our quotation to the purchaser. The purchaser quickly finalized the order and urged us to accelerate production. Before mass production, we first created a prototype sample. We made minor adjustments based on hands-on feedback of the physical sample, and shared photos and videos of the sample with the purchaser, allowing everyone to visualize the restaurant furniture firsthand. Once the sample was approved, we proceeded with bulk material selection. For natural stone, we carefully handpicked the finest pieces from our stone inventory, taking photos and videos of each piece to share with the team—striving to achieve the most exquisite grain and finish for the marble dining tables.
In the second round, we coordinated with the on-site construction team. Based on the on-site dimensions provided, we confirmed the length of the banquette upholstery. We also created a prototype for on-site fitting; after verifying that it matched perfectly, we moved forward with bulk production of the upholstered pieces.
In the third round, we carried out bulk production of the dining chairs and hardware components. We manufactured the stainless steel marble dining tables in accordance with the selected stainless steel finish and stone color.
The fourth round focused on the outdoor garden furniture—this is my favorite part, and the images are even featured on the homepage of Bellavit’s Restaurant Furniture official website. The open-air teak furniture in the garden setting is truly stunning. During the manufacturing process, we first crafted the teak furniture frames, then let them air-dry under the sun until they developed a beautiful natural hue. After that, we applied teak oil, and finally added the upholstery. For the outdoor upholstery, we prioritized water permeability and used high-quality outdoor fabrics with quick-drying, water-permeable cotton—creating a lazy, casual garden dining area. I absolutely love how the final result turned out.
In the fifth round, after the entire project was completed, we received high praise from both the purchaser and the design team—and we were overjoyed. One day after the restaurant opened, the purchaser invited us to try the food. To be honest, as a restaurant furniture product manager, I am absolutely professional when it comes to furniture, but I’m not qualified to give sophisticated reviews on food. However, Michelin-level restaurants never fail to impress with their dishes—the food was delicious, and the environment was extraordinary. Soon after, this restaurant ranked first in terms of ambiance among Western restaurants in this first-tier developed city. We are incredibly proud to have contributed to creating such a wonderful dining environment.
